Bullseye / Precision Pistol
NRA Precision Pistol, formerly known as NRA Conventional Pistol, is a national discipline organized in the United States by the NRA. Emphasis is on accuracy and precision, and participants shoot handguns at paper targets at fixed distances and time limits. Other organizations in the United States and Canada have established rules and keep records of similar disciplines, including the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) in the United States.
Lewistown Pistol Club holds bullseye practice every Wednesday staring at 7pm. Practice is open to members and non members alike. There is a $3 fee each night to cover expenses.
In addition to wednesday night practices we hold 900, 1800, and 2700 matches throughout the year. Keep an eye on our website and facebook site to stay informed of upcoming matches. Additionally, all matches will be posted for signup on NJPISTOL.COM .
The club has an indoor range with 12 postitions and an automated target turning system. Outdoors we have a covered range with 24 positions for bullseye with automated turning targets at 25 yards as well as a fixed target line at 50 yards.
